on a streak — that is how a short word can beat a long one.
How to play
Letters fall past you. One drag takes three of them, in the order you
touch them. CAT scores 3 + 1 + 2 = 6, times 3 letters =
18. The Z was worth more, but Z alone is not a word.
Letters fall from the top. Drag through them to cut them
into your word.
Lift your finger to submit. Two letters or more, so a single
tile never scores.
Letters go in the order you touch them, so plan the path. Cut B,
T then U and you have submitted BTU, not BUT.
A run is 60 seconds. A five-letter word wins 2 seconds back
and a seven-letter word wins 4, but the clock never passes 1:30.
Three words in a row doubles your score, and a longer run of
them takes it to ×5. One wrong word resets it.
Each word counts once. Cutting the same one again pays
nothing.
A wrong word costs 3 seconds. One stray letter costs nothing, so a
slip is only a slip, and letters you never touch cost nothing
either.
💣 Bombs cost 10 seconds and void the word you were cutting.
Late in a run, that is the end of it.
Slow or Fast sets how long a tile takes to cross the screen,
about ten seconds against seven. Same letters, same scoring, more or
less time to think. Each keeps its own daily run and its own best.
Why words of the same length score differently
Every letter has a value, printed small on its tile. A word scores
the sum of its letters, times how many letters it has.

All three letters long, and all worth different amounts, because P is
rarer than S. Length still matters most, since it multiplies.
